Hi! My name is Tricia Mitchell. I delight in telling stories about my slow travels through more than 65 countries. Some of my highlights have included sharing meals with locals in Armenia, Cambodia, and Tunisia; sipping sparkling wine with French cousins in Alsace; milking goats in a sleepy Bulgarian village; and training with a Japanese mine-clearance team in Laos. My husband, Shawn, and I are based in France’s Loire Valley.
Love this!!! The enginuity!!!!
It’s funny that sights like this don’t cause me to raise an eyebrow (quite as much) as they did at the start of our trip. In Phnom Penh, we even saw a food vendor cooking in his attached cart while driving in busy traffic, leaving my husband to make a joke about cooking & driving. :)
I guess it doesn’t matter that the blade spin in one direction while the mower moves backward. With a lawn that big why not a riding mower? Ha ha this was really fun.
So true, Victor! We see so many ‘Safety First’ references here in SE Asia, but without the standards being put into practice. Dare I mention our jeepney in the Philippines having a collision with a tricycle (motorized bike with a cabin on the side) yesterday? Fortunately no one was hurt…
