In the sleepy town of Perast, Montenegro, we were drawn to a canopy of wisteria, intoxicated not only by its delicate perfume but also its enchanting lavender hue. The symphony of hundreds of bees at work enhanced the moment.
I’ve never seen anything quite like this wisteria “forest,” with its mature twisted trunks. We stood underneath this lavender-colored ceiling for several moments, capturing the silhouette of this bee as he prepared to land on an elegant bunch of blooms.
I can only imagine how heavenly the honey must taste in Perast!
